5 Good Reasons To Like Blue Jays

  1. One time I saw a hawk attack this squirrel on the grass in my backyard. He didn't eat him, he just murdered him. I saw so upset, but then I noticed a few bluejays were screaming at the hawk and they all took turns swooping in and smacking the hawk in the face. Once the hawk realized he was getting jumped he flew off and they all followed him. Those bluejays are heroes. I didn't even know they could take on hawks.

  2. Blue Jays are the 911 to any kind of danger in one's yard. They will alert other birds to approaching Hawks when they are feeding and not paying attention. I don't know how many times they have gotten my attention to snakes crawling under the trees. πŸ’•πŸ¦

  3. No wonder I get occasional Blue Jay visits, because I have a bunch of wasp every summer in my yards

  4. I'm learning about them because they drove my redwing blackbirds away. Years of the same RWBB clan, gone. Now, I have one Bluejay who wakes me up everyday at 6:31, and won't stop yelling at me until I give him a handful of peanuts.

He's growing on me, and my cats seem almost as scared of him as they were of my dominate blackbird, but I miss my birds that he chased away.

  5. I LπŸ’—VE Blue jays, it took a while but I finally have two that hang out in my yard most of the day

Now I know where the sunflowers that I didn’t plant came from
    thanks blue jaysπŸ˜…πŸ‘πŸ»
