  1. My Maine Coon wasn't afraid of me… She latched on to me, followed me & was always with me if she ever felt scared.

  2. ❀😻Hey πŸ‘‹ everyone I got my first Maine coon kitten from πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‡ https://youtube.com/channel/UC8AVfXTKFr41Qw_1fYDI70w

  3. Just brought my first Maine Coon! Little Ember is already so curious about her surroundings and is super cuddly!!
Cinder is not so enthused on her new sister

  4. I got Mochi at 10 weeks. She had no fear & explored fully on her own. She played and was very happy. She is a picky eater and food is not her priority. She does not follow me all around, nor does she sleep (nor DID) she sleep a lot. The first year was the easiest because she was getting to know her new home & interested and enthused about her toys. Now she’s 3 and all she cares about is going outside which I cannot let her do, at will, for both for safety reasons and HOA rules. I take her out on a leash and harness at least 1 hr a day and she would prefer to be INSIDE for no more than an hr instead. She is not very big & has never weighed more than 10 lbs.
I note these things to advise that not all the β€˜expectations’ listed on the video will necessarily be the case. Cats are like people: individuals. Of course there are some characteristics for which one can make a blanket statement but do not think something is wrong if your new kitten does not live up to the expectations assumed in this video.

  5. Thank you so much for the information. I want another cat so bad. I had 7 cats. But I am starting to lose them due to old age. My oldest cat was 23 and now I have only 3 left. I have a 21 year old, and a 18 year old and a 10 year old. I do not believe my two old cats will be around much longer. My 10 year old is going to need a friend. She is very spunky. So I have been thinking about a Coon Kitten. I am 69 years old. And I have had lots of cats, Cats have always rocked my world!! Thank You Again.

  6. They are sweet, gentle natured, and love to be cuddled. Unless it comes to mice and rats. ❀️ They will destroy them with a vengeance!

  7. Thanks. Yesterday brought home a 10 month Maine Coon to a new home. We have two other shorthair cats that were a little freaked out by the bigger fluffy cat. The Maine coon hissed at my older cat and has been growling. I now have the Maine coon in a big play pen in a separate unused room by herself so she can get adjusted. She does let me pet her but she does get agitated and starts to hiss or growl. Thanks for the tips
