  1. I'm getting a cat for the first time, and I'm SO excited! It has to be a Siamese because my brother is somewhat allergic to cats, and we found out that Siamese cats are hypoallergenic. However, my parents want to declaw the cat. I've told them multiple times that it's bad for the cat's health and that a scratching post would be great for it, but they won't listen. I don't know what to do. It's either going to be declawed and be an inside cat, or be an outside cat with claws. I really want to bond and BE with my cat, so I would love for it to be inside. They told me "You wouldn't want your cat scratching you anyways" and I pointed out the fact that my dog has bitten me before and I didn't decide to rip her teeth out because of it, so why should we do that to the cat? I don't know what to do, I really hope they realize that declawing a cat won't help. I really want a cat, and this is my only chance! I hope it doesn't come down to declawing it.

  2. Hello, I've got a kitten for 3 days now, and he hissed the whole first day. the second one he hissed only once. I'm trying to reduce his anxiety level but is it really the anxiety that made him hiss or was it a bad habit from his mum.

IDK his mum, a woman gave him to us, her cat gave birth and she didn't know what to do with the kitten.

I took him right away to the vet for the vaccines (he's 1,2 Kg) and to check on him and he hissed at the vet XD she said that it was probably a bad habit.

  3. OK, I made a cat room, or a "Base camp" as Jackson galaxy calls it. I had gotten two cats, both from different cages. I follow all directions that this cat expert tells me.
She is right, but the cats only take a day to settle in, roam freely around the house, and befriend the dog. BUT! Before you go thinking that you don't have to prepare a room for weeks, these two cats were kittens, and our dog loves every living thing, even nasty pitbulls. Gonna get a third kitten today, I'll update tomorrow, because those kittens from earlier are now adults!

  4. I’m getting a kitten next year on June so I’m absorbing and binging a bunch of cat videos Im so excited 😀 does anyone know what I can do if I don’t have a separate room where they can hide? Can I just get them a little hut or child play tent?

  5. In a few days, I'm going to go see a kitten (female) called Mask ♥️I really hope we can get her 🍀
