Can you teach a dog how to swim? Do huskies know how to swim? Today we talk about how I taught my husky puppy how to swim! And yes, I taught her how to swim in the swimming pool. Teaching your dog to like water can be difficult. You have to take your time, and be patient with them. Some dogs and puppies are scared of swimming and scared of water. We try to introduce our dogs to water as young as we can, and in a very controlled environment, so that it’s not so scary. Eleanor the husky puppy learns how to swim and we explain what we did to teach her, but we also show you some of the other dogs and their experience swimming in the pool!

Watching the dogs swim is such a blast! I’m so glad the Eleanor has been leaning how to swim. Taking your time is very important when teaching any dog how to swim.
I couple of other dog channels i watch have started doing hydrotherapy to help their older dogs. Its great exrecise for them
