  8. She's lovely. I am sure the person who left the dog on this occasion just didn't have the financial means to help her and wanted to put her into a situation they thought would be better for her. Possibly that person watched your family for a while to ensure you were the type of family that love animals. I don't think it was a case of cruel abandonment. I hope they got to see Umka's progress on youtube and can feel relief they did the right thing and you are indeed the right person to have Umka's love and affection from now on.
